Baird and Co Recruitment, a specialist Social Housing recruitment firm, are currently seeking a Supported Housing Officer to cover the Kent and London regions.
Starting asap, working 37.5 hours per week, this would be an all-encompassing generic Supported Housing Officer role, covering estate management, tenancy sustainment, rent arrears and anti-social behaviour for tenants most at need.
Previous experience in a Supported Housing Officer position would be required and anyone with prior knowledge in a mentoring or management role would advantageous.
The Supported Housing Officer will be expected to:
* Look after a patch of properties, supporting the tenants in their homes
* Deal with ASB cases and outstanding rent arrears
* Undertake sign ups and oversee the lettings process
* Provide feedback on tenancy sustainment initiatives and implement new procedures
* Deliver general estate management support
* Build strong relationships with tenants and internal teams
The below is essential:
* Previous experience as a Housing Officer or Supported Housing Officer
* Knowledge of supported housing
* Experience in tenancy management
* A full driving license with access to a vehicle
