Sales Support Administrator
Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Administrator to join a rapidly growing SME, based in Nuthampstead. Your role is to provide essential, timely and accurate admin support to the sales team to increase their face to face customer contact and hit the monthly sales revenue and gross profit targets. You will convert marketing leads to sales opportunities, books visits for the sales team and ensure regular weekly meetings are booked and agenda is in place
Role and Responsibilities
* Book customers' sales appointments which can involve liaising with multiple suppliers and partners
* Manage and update the Sales Team's calendars
* Ensure weekly meetings are held between each salesman and their support person
* Send out customer survey questionnaires during the sales process
* Email suppliers with drawings and specifications to obtain quotations, update their pricing on the system as required, obtain samples etc
* Build sales quotations using Salesforce CRM system and Quoting Tool
* Update Salesforce with notes from customer meetings / contacts and create follow-up tasks
* Proactively chase sales team for updates on live opportunities
* Set up online meetings for suppliers and customers and send invites / reminders etc
* Keep customer server and paper files up-to-date including filing of all documents - drawings, information, supplier quotes
* Complete sales handover documents, tasks and checklists and book handover meetings with Sales and Operations
* Complete monthly Sales Pipeline meeting, report and forecast
* Chase customer deposit payments once orders have been placed
* Take concise and accurate notes from meetings
Requirements
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.#
* Must have a driving licence
* Awareness of needs and ability to listen
* Problem solving skills
* Willingness to go the extra mile
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Good experience and skill using the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
* Excellent typing skills including typing of recorded dictation.
