My client is an established Accountancy Practice based in Bournemouth who are now looking to recruit an experienced Practice Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role based at their Covid secure office.
Role responsibilities:
Reviewing company accounts and tax returns for individuals and businesses prepared by the accounts team
Assisting with the preparation and submission of company accounts, tax returns, payroll, VAT returns for individuals and businesses
Setting up and implementing working models, daily routines, processes and procedures for new clients and projects
Supporting the team and monitoring the implementation of new projects and routines
Monitor service quality level by reviewing the accuracy of the processing completed in the practice
Manage the day-to-day routine of the practice
Support and manage the staff to ensure that the highest level of individual and productivity is achieved on a daily basis
Overseeing the overall business productivity and service fees to ensure specified level
Improve internal processes to streamline and digitise the practice
Assist the current Director with optimising the profitability of the business
Dealing with client queries with the support of the in-house team
Meeting with new and existing clients
Securing new business
Ad-hoc duties when required
Essential requirements:
Fully ACCA or ACA qualified
Confident with Sage 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll, SAPA, Sage Corporation Tax and Xero
Excellent standard of English Language
Excellent customer service skills
Computer literacy including developed skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Access, Excel) and usage of databases
Excellent verbal, written, telephone, interpersonal and organisational skills
Proven ability to understand and follow policies, processes and procedure
Proactive with a strong ability to multi-task, manage variable workloads and prioritise effectively
Embraces change and continuous improvement
Accuracy and attention to detail
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Self-motivated and disciplined
Able to work as part of a collaborative team
What's on offer:
Competitive base salary from GBP35k to GBP40k depending on experience
Covid secure office based in Bournemouth
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm office hours
