Location: Coventry Head Office (Middlemarch Business Park)
Package: Basic Annual Salary up to GBP22,000 (dependent on experience)

Macfarlane Group PLC is the UK's largest packaging distributor, and we are seeking to hire an experienced Credit Controller to join our Head Office credit control/finance team. Credit Controller Role & Responsibilities
Working as part of our Credit Control team, this full-time role is based in our Coventry Head Office. The position is integral to the success of the business, with the successful candidate responsible for a portfolio of customer accounts and resolving high volume of queries. We operate a 37.5 hours working week (can be either 9am-5pm or 9:30am-5:30pm) with half an hour lunch break.
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Negotiating with customers within a targeted environment
* Releasing orders for customers in line with credit policy
* Assessing new customers for credit account
* Credit appraisal on existing accounts
* Dealing with customer queries
* Sales ledger reconciliation
* Credit checks
Do you have the correct profile?
The ideal candidate will have a sound background in collections and be target-driven, being able to demonstrate a successful track record of credit control related skills and experience gained within a similar role. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be accustomed to managing a large ledger.
