Introduction to job:
AM2PM are looking for experienced Class 2 drivers available to work for our client based in Rochdale. You will be supported by a friendly and professional logistics team that do all route planning.
Role and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the security of the vehicle and the movement of freight between Hub and depot. This is multi drop work with around 10-15 drops daily - may sometimes be given a distance run with much fewer drops. There is minimal to no handball involved in this role, but drivers may be required to use a pump truck. Work is on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, so weekends will be expected (extra shifts also available on request). Pay rate is GBP12.25ph weekdays, GBP15ph Saturday, GBP17ph Sunday. IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE. Guaranteed ongoing work.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Drivers must hold
* Minimum of 2 years 7.5 tonne/Class 2 driving experience in UK
* No more than 6 points for minor driving offences
* Over the age of 25
* CPC and Digi Taco card
