A national business is currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join their head office team based in Scarborough. Reporting into the Finance Director, the Payroll Manager will be responsible for the accurate and timely pay of circa 1500 employees.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to drive forward the payroll function and manage a small team. You will be joining a well-known, family run business with a national presence.
Key responsibilities for the successful Payroll Manager will include:
Line Management of Payroll Administrator
Payroll processing of circa 1500 employees
Working with stakeholders to continually improve internal processes
Run month and year-end payroll processes
Manage work place pension scheme
Prepare annual staff costs budgets
Working closely with HR and finance teamsIf you have previous experience in a Payroll Manager or Payroll Supervisor position, we are keen to hear from you. Equally we would like to hear from Payroll Assistants who are looking for their next challenge and a 'step-up'.
To be successful in this Payroll Manager position you will:
Be a proactive team member
Have previous payroll experience
Be calm under pressure
