Job Role: Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP60,000 + Bonus + Package

Vertex IT Solutions is supporting a Global PaaS org with a fantastic opportunity for a Full Stack Java Developer. The ideal candidate will be come from a product, platform or application Dev support role and will have strong FE experience.

Daily Tasks:

  • Understands & fulfills Customer Needs & Requirements
  • Developing/Supporting applications
  • Maintain technical expertise in assigned areas of product functionality
  • Create scripts to automate repetitive tasks or scripts to enable faster troubleshooting

Experience with the following:

  • UI development or support experience
  • Experience in TWO (or more) of the following: CSS, AJAX, React.JS, GraphQL, Angular.JS, Mobile application development
  • Rewriting, Debugging and Supporting Java applications
  • Troubleshooting experience using browser developer tools
  • Scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
  • Good experience with relational databases (eg MySQL, Oracle).
  • Experience using Linux/Unix OR Microsoft Server
