Sourcing Specialist
Titan are currently working with a Medical Researcher based in Glasgow who are looking to recruit a Sourcing Specialist to join their team.
You will be experienced sourcing and procurement with knowledge of the Life Sciences industry, who likes to be challenged, to join their vibrant and growing team.
You will be responsible for the management of sourcing requests, liaising with suppliers in relation to new and current products.
Duties:
• Work with internal teams to define specific biospecimen requirements and ensuring biospecimens sourced meet these requirements
• Source human biomaterials from an established network of global providers
• Negotiate pricing terms on product/services and enter pricing into our Database
• Identify new suppliers and/or human biomaterial products
• Managing stock lists ensuring they are kept current and accessible to internal teams
• Collation and formatting of samples lists using Adobe or, Excel
• Preparing formal quotations
• Processing of orders and invoices
• Maintaining databases and records to ensure they are up-to-date
• Working in accordance with organisational quality standards ISO9001
