Housing Solutions Officer (Housing, Benefits and Planning)
Contract role: 5 July 2021 - 2 Jan 2022
Hours: 37 per week, M-F (Apply online only)
Location: BN15 8TA, Lancing
Pay: GBP16.42ph (PAYE) or GBP21.00ph (LTD)
We are recruiting on behalf of Adur District Council.
The role of the Housing Solutions Officer will be to act as ASB lead.
You will retain risk management oversight of the service for high and medium risk cases and you will present the tenancy terms medium/high risk cases at HASBRAC. The post holder will also act as the ECINS coordinator and will be expected to attend regular service meetings with the ASB team to ensure training and learning is embedded into our ways of working. You will also retain oversight of external contacts list including community policing structure and ensure these are kept up to date. Part of the role will also mean acting as the councils professional witness for court proceedings.
The idea candidate should have experience of the Social Housing Sector. Desirable would be to have the CIH qualification.
