They're looking for somebody with experience project managing the implementation of new financial systems and upgrades to existing applications who is also a fully or part-qualified accountant (with commitment to completing to fully qualified) to join their busy, expanding finance team. This role will be a 50/50 mixture of home and office working from the East Midlands.
You will be responsible for all business contact in relation to improvement of the businesses financial systems. You will work alongside the existing finance team to review processes and will improve efficiency through implementing new financial software alongside upgrading existing financial applications so everything is streamlined and fit for purpose. You will be the super-user of the financial applications and be required to convey technical IT information to non-IT audiences whilst maintaining strong external supplier relationships, and engaging stakeholders internally to ensure new system buy-in at all levels.
Essential Skills:
* A successful commercial track record as Financial Systems Implementer/Technical Finance Project Manager/Systems Accountant in a previous role
* Experience of managing/supporting the full IT project lifecycle
* Experience of P2P systems such as Yardi, FinancialsLIVE, V1 P2P, BlueBox, OPENFinancials, Qube/MRI etc
* Oracle/SQL based querying
* System integration
* Experience of creating financial reports & supporting data migration.
* Microsoft Excel advanced user
* Excellent communication skills and experiencing managing both internal stakeholders and external third-party suppliers
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant with intention to complete to fully qualified
* IT qualification/certifications
