Software Engineer - Aylesbury (Buckinghamshire) GBP40k-GBP45k
(Mostly Office Based)
An opportunity to join a new business venture and be part of the initial setup and development process for the new bespoke in-house IT systems and requirements, as part of an existing experienced distributed development team.
This role will also be the company's main in-house point of contact for IT, and as such strong interpersonal skills and at times customer facing skills will be required. Such interactions will form part of the requirements gathering, user training, implementation testing, and support for these systems, as well as interacting with all other business functions.
Due to the bespoke nature of the business systems requirements this is predominantly a software development role, however, being a small business, and being the only onsite contact for IT, the role will naturally also need to cover a small fraction of IT Support needs too.
Essential Skills
Microsoft .NET Framework C#
Minimum 5 years full time professional development experience; covering all aspects of the software development life cycle.
ASP.NET Web Application Development using WebForms
Microsoft SQL Server
Database Driven Application Development against Microsoft SQL Server Databases
Standard Web Technologies, HTML, CSS
IaaS Implementation and Support
Azure AD
Microsoft/Office 365
Windows Server 2019 (Azure Hosted)
Windows 10 Laptop and Desktop Support
Including ordering, setup, hardware and software support to both remote and office based staff
Windows/Office Peripheral Device Support (Printers, Scanners etc)
