An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join a well-established company based in Burnley.
The Company:
They are a family run business which has many years of industry experience, spanning across all of their company disciplines. Situated in a commercially advantageous location in the heart of the North West, their company base is positioned within minutes of the key motorway networks with easy access to Lancaster, Manchester, Warrington & various other locations. In turn, this enables them to provide a swift response to their customer's needs.
Role & Responsibilities:
Working to British Standards.
Primary role requirement: The installation, service, maintenance and fault diagnosis of Access Control, Intruder Alarm and CCTV systems, including knowledge of I.P networking for these systems.
Secondary role requirement: Knowledge and experience of fire alarm & detection, fire suppression and warden call/care call systems, installation, service, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
General: Client Satisfaction * Completing daily work sheets, (electronic systems), timesheets and job reports to a high standard. * Dedication to the on-call rota
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualification requirements in 'Security, Emergency and Alarm Systems' Level 3 NVQ or equivalent BTEC.
* Experienced knowledge of Access Control, Intruder alarm and CCTV systems. System installation, commissioning, fault investigation/repair and I.P networking.
Desirable Skills (not essential):
* Electrical Installation Part 2 City & Guilds/Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
* FIA Level 2 Foundation in Fire Detection and Alarm.
* FIA Level 3 Fire Detection and Alarm Advanced Designer.
* Knowledge of fire alarm & detection systems, fire suppression systems, warden call/care call systems.
