JOB ROLE SPECIFICATION

Job Title: HR Administrator Position Reports to: HR Advisor

Department: Human Resources Salary: GBP19,000

Location: Office Based; Manchester

Job Purpose Summary

To act as an integral part of the HR Team offering support to the wider business on all HR administration matters. The role of HR Administrator will provide the opportunity to gain experience in a generalist HR function, ideal for someone looking for their first HR role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee the Security Screening process throughout the Company.
Completion of Home Office Clearance for all Engineers ensuring deadlines are met.
Request employment references for all new starters via phone and email
Submit all electronic DBS Applications via the online portal
Ensure processes and deadlines are met through chasing up required information and escalation to management if necessary
Support in ensuring the HR Inbox is kept at a manageable level with all queries responded to within a 24-hour period.
Communicate effectively with people at all levels.
Assist in the day-to-day HR administration duties.
Completion of all Customer specific clearance requirements.
Issue of Employee correspondence via the Adobe Sign system when required.
Management of the Employee Portal for new starters.
Processing all new starts and leaver to/from the relevant systems including payroll, ensuring all colleagues are added with the correct permissions and removed in a timely manner
Production and issuing of Company ID badges for employees and subcontractors when required
Supporting the induction process with paperwork, lunch orders and hotel accommodation
Support to the recruitment function to manage the processing of applications through the Natural HR system
Completion of all Offers of Employment and pre-screening of all candidates prior to offer
Liaise with Payroll assistant ensuring an effective working relationship is maintained.
Supporting the HR Department with any ad hoc duties and projects when required
