The role
As a Machine Driver working for a local Build Partner, you will play a key role in helping CityFibre to achieve our mission of delivering full Fibre to up to 8 million premises across the UK - building the Fibre future and be part of something far bigger than just a standard job. Within your role as a Machine Driver you will be tasked with working in conjunction with the local digging and installation teams.
You will help to build the Future of Fibre by:
Loading, unloading, processing, and transporting various materials
Safely operate various items of plant equipment
Conduct regular safety checks on machines and work areas, reporting any defects to management.
Carrying out work onsite in a pleasant manner
Willingness to work as part of a team when not drivingYou will need:
Previous experience driving 360 machines (up to 10T)
Valid NPORS CSCS Card
Able to work as part of a team or own initiative
Good understanding and knowledge of Health and Safety
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Strong organisational skillsBenefits
