Electrician - Testing and Inspection - Newcastle Based
GBP32,000-GBP35,000 with benefits
An award-winning electrical compliance contractor are eager to welcome several Electricians to carry out a role which involves test and inspection of domestic sites. The work is focused around Newcastle and they are looking for 18th Edition qualified electricians with experience in the industry
With state-of-the-art software, they help to deliver electrical safety and compliance. Their test, inspect, maintenance and installation services are offered across various sectors, from social housing to public sector authorities. The work you be conducting will largely focus on both tenanted and void domestic properties. Any necessary training to deliver the role will be provided.
They offer full test and inspect services from fixed wire and EICR, to fire alarm systems and PAT testing. When you become a part of the team, the duties you will perform include:
Test and Inspection of Electrical Systems in domestic properties
Find and Diagnose Faults, carrying out any necessary maintenance
Fill out compliance forms using bespoke software
Occasionally Install Smoke Alarms
The successful candidate will possess:
18th Edition Qualified
City & Guild 2391
Full UK driving licence
2 years of experience in the electrical industry
City & Guild Level 3 or equivalent is ideal
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:
Outstanding knowledge of electrical Test and Inspection
High Level of Communication both verbally and written
Good Standard of IT competency
The role pays competitively, earning GBP32,000-GBP35,000 with access to overtime, amongst other benefits including vehicle, fuel card uniform, holiday and pension
