Hygiene Operative / Factory Cleaner
We are looking for an experienced Hygiene Operative / Factory Cleaner to join a large manufacturing business on a permanent basis - Grimsby.
* 7am - 3.30pm
* Monday to Friday
* Paid 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete all production cleaning schedules (including facilities, but not machinery).
* Complete office cleaning, according to weekend cleaning schedules.
* Clear meeting rooms following meetings and lunches, as required.
* Address issues highlighted from weekly cleaning audits.
* Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and communicate requirements.
* Assist in the development and improvement of cleaning schedules.
* Knowledge of cleaning Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH Assessments to ensure safe working practices maintained.
* Report any known hygiene, safety & environmental issues.
* Attend cleaners' meetings as required.
* Holiday cover and Bank Holiday Cover as required.
* Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing information.
* To work within government and company Equal Opportunities Policy and practices and report any deviations.
* To work within government and company health and safety policies and practices and report any hazards and incidents.
* Work in accordance with all company environmental management requirements, taking reasonable care for the protection of the environment through your own acts/omissions and report any opportunities for improving environmental targets.
* To be flexible in undertaking duties and responsibilities any may be asked to perform other duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of the position and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.
Key Requirements:
* Must have experience cleaning within production based environments.
* Previous experience of working in a food hygiene environment advantageous.
* Must be comfortable cleaning at heights
