Project Design Engineer - Camberley
Our Client.
Design & Manufacturer of specialist testing equipment for various applications, they are involved in the full life cycle and deal with customer from start to finish with a design team and projects team taking control of each customer specification.
Based in Camberley from there they deal mainly with design and project based applications with some assembly on site. They are part of a global brand standing at circa 300 employees globally and are in need of a new addition to the team in Project based Design.
The Role & Responsibilities.
Working on the full product life cycle across the product range
Completing drawing work in Solidworks
Tasked with technical writing and documentation
Creating BOMs
Working with Project teams and Project Managers to keep clients informed of where each project and what potential issues there maybe
Opportunity to work directly with customers and present solutions
What our client is looking for?
Trained in Mechanical Engineering (Degree, HND/HNC)
Designed something from scratch through to production
Experience within technical writing and documentation
Preferably a Solidworks user
FEA use in the work place would be advantageous
Package (based on experience).
GBP35k to GBP45k, plus benefits
