Senior Systems & Quality Engineer
* Permanent
* Ashton-under-Lyne
* Salary cGBP35,000
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Systems & Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturer based in Ashton-under-Lyne. You will be reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
Responsible for managing a small team within the quality department. You will also be responsible for the auditing at IATF, ISO and VDA standards and supporting engineering / quality aspects such as documentation and customer / supplier development.
We are looking for candidates who ideally have lead auditing experience especially with IATF, ISO or VDA as well as experience managing these systems.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* Managing a team to ensure all daily aspects are carried timely including QC audits etc.
* Supporting with investigations and 8D reports
* Creating documentation such as control plans, PFMEA's
* Compiling reports and data analysis for improvements
* Supporting in APQP and NPI activities
* Manage business systems (IATF, ISO and VDA)
* Carry out and support internal audits or 3rd party audits
* Local supplier complaint management
Qualifications / Experience:
* Good understand of QMS (Quality Management Systems) and procedures
* IATF / VDA / ISO (lead preferred)
* Quality core tools: - Control plans, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, Work instruction creation
* Extensive problem-solving experience and very keen attention to detail
* Computer literate
* Experience of SAP (Training can be given)
