Regional Sales Manager - Wellingborough

BID Group Ltd are one of largest independent, owner managed, industrial door companies in the UK, providing service, repair, and installation solutions for all types of industrial door and loading bay equipment across the country. The Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Wellingborough and South area.
The successful candidate will be required to sell BID Group premium products and allied equipment to end-users and contractors while developing and maintaining professional customer relations and maximizing sales volume and profitability in their defined sales territory.
Main responsibilities will include:
* Contacting end-user customers to build up professional relationships.
* Prospecting/cold calling to grow the sales pipeline within the defined territory.
* Working to set targets and KPI's.
* Keeping their territory plan up to date.
* Supporting other Sales representatives to maximize opportunity within their territory.
* Growing the service unit base within the defined territory
* Supporting customers to ensure correct product selection to maximize the customer's benefit.
* Preparing quotations and defining orders with customers
* Working closely with the sales desk to maximize opportunity with products, repairs, service & parts.
* Visiting customer sites to ensure the correct preparations for installations.
* Providing accurate monthly sales forecasting information
* Ensuring order intake, sales, and profits according to the set targets
* Ensuring sales to operations handovers are carried efficiently with all the correct paperwork in place.
* Customer visits with sales reps
* Working to the set sales KPI's
* Ensures sales result from his/her team short and long term.
* Support and mentor new sales reps within the South Region / BID Group
* Support customers that span across different Regions
* Work closely with the Head of Sales.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a customer focused, creative, well organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is a team player with a sympathetic mind and desire to succeed. With a technical or commercial background, we are looking for a minimum of 2 years proven track record in sales, with experience in selling to end users. The successful applicant must be willing to travel and to stay overnight when applicable.

Location: Wellingborough
Salary: Dependent upon skills and experience,
Hours of Work: Basic 40-hour week, 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. (Manage own area)
