Forecaster/Demand Planner
Location: Northampton
Salary: GBP24-28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday/9-5pm
Initially a 9 month contract, with a view to becoming permanent.
My client is seeking a Forecaster/Demand Planner to work in their growing team.
The role will be to successfully meet agreed KPI targets and objectives for a specific and complex product range. Contribute to deliver value, innovation and gainshare through Supply Chain initiatives. Manage the day to day forecasting of sales for a portfolio of customers and suppliers/products. Support reduction in inventory through high forecasting accuracy to optimise the supply chain and meet product availability targets. For a specific set of products, ensure accuracy of forecasting through product life cycle, to optimise stockholding versus KPI and reduce wastage
Candidate Spec
o 3-5 years Supply Chain experience
o Proven track record in forecasting to achieve contractual KPI's
o End to end Supply Chain exposure, highly adept at forecasting and demand planning
o Experienced user of Supply Chain systems - Oracle and Optimiza
o Performance management of supplier base
o Knowledge of supply chain market
