Female Support Worker and Buddy
Huntingdon
Hours:
* After school one afternoon per week 4.15pm - 7.30pm
* Weekend day/night x 2 per month
Assist with personal care
A new exciting role for someone who has a keen interest in communication to support *Hannah a busy and active 15yr old girl. *Hannah lives at home with her family and loves activities in the home and out and about especially horse carriage riding and swimming, at home she enjoys listening to music on YouTube. *Hannah has Cerebral Palsy, non-verbal, and uses a wheelchair.
Duties:
* Working on a 2:1 basis
* Use and encourage with her communication aid
* Following therapists care plans
* Assist at mealtimes and bedtimes
This role would suit someone:
* Experienced in healthcare/education support with children or young adults
* Swimmer
* IT Literate
Where a specific gender is stated as essential, gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance to paragraph 1, of schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for a female or male worker to work with our client.
