Administration Assistant

Who are we?

GeoCubed is a new joint venture between Cornish Lithium Ltd (CLL) and Geothermal Engineering Limited (GEL). We have received Government funding through the Getting Building Fund to develop a pilot lithium extraction plant at our United Downs site in central Cornwall. The £4m project will employ a team of 10 people, plus consultants and advisors, and we are seeking to appoint a Administration Assistant as part of this new team, on an immediate start.


Day to day you’ll…

  • Support with personnel issues, such as,
  • overseeing annual leave, sick leave, updating employee handbooks, helping with updating of relevant procedures, etc.
  • Assist with generating and issuing recruitment packages, and inductions
  • Responsible for ensuring all timesheets are kept up to date and submitted at the end of each month
  • Manage office supplies
    • Stock management
    • Support in managing office contracts
  • Carry out general administration
  • Cost Control administration as required
  • Assisting with administration of monthly grant claims and supporting documentation
  • Assist bookkeeper with monitoring spend on projects and apply coding systems
  • Managing paperwork and electronic folders
  • Assist with secretarial and reception duties as necessary

We are looking for someone energetic, with the drive and enthusiasm needed to support the team, working to tight deadlines and clear budgets. The ideal candidate will have some experience of similar roles within a busy delivery team, and they should be,

  • A team player
  • Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail
  • Happy to take initiative, whilst also working to agreed priorities
  • Excellent written communication skills and telephone manner
  • Good interpersonal and IT skills (Microsoft Office 365)

  • Experience of cost control, purchase receivables and invoice management
  • Office and site management
  • People skills
  • Filing of paperwork and electronic folders
