Finance & Information Officer (Fixed Term) - Strategic Regeneration

37 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised team player, with a can-do attitude, to join our small but high-quality team that works across the Council and with key stakeholders within the Cardiff Capital Region.

Working within the Regeneration Funding and Regional Engagement team, you will have excellent communication, administration, data and finance skills. The post holder will also support the work of the South East Wales Regional Engagement Team project (funded by the ESF and ERDF Programmes 2).

This varied role will include:

• the preparation of grant claims

• the organisation and support of our networks and workshops

• the administration of the team's budgets,

• an active role in the delivery or our communication plan, supporting the development of weekly news bulletins, regular newsletters and website content

• general administration tasks

An awareness of external funding/European grant programmes is desirable but not essential. Good IT skills, an eye for detail, the ability to work to deadlines and a flexible, professional approach are vital.

Secondments will be considered for this post, however, any applicant should seek the agreement and approval of the relevant line manager prior to applying to ensure that he/she may be released from his/her substantive post and that it will be safeguarded for the duration of the secondment.
