Do you possess the determination and drive to become part of the team that moves this expanding and successful school into the future. Tradewind are working with a special needs school based in the Wirral, who are looking for a class teacher from September.
The school caters for Complex Learning Difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Condition and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. The pupils are aged between 2 and 11 years old.
This special school seek to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed teacher, with the drive to contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the school. Ideally, candidates would have previous experience teaching in an SEN environment. The school has provision for pupils in the main site and eight classrooms in their second site.
The successful candidates will:
* Be an outstanding practitioner and posses the drive to contribute to the school's strategic vision
* Make a significant contribution to the continuing success of the school
* Hold QTS
* Be committed to raising pupils' attainment and have the proven ability to effectively differentiate outcomes for a wide range of learners
* Be able to deliver highly innovative lessons using cross curricular themes to ensure that learning is embedded
* Be able to effectively manage challenging behaviour
* Have a willingness and commitment to support children with ASC
