Mech Tech professionals have an immediate requirement for an experienced Building Fabric Technician (Multi Trader) to work in the Somerset area. The successful candidate will be responsible for a company vehicle and will be required to work at multiple sites between Bristol and Taunton.
Duties will include:
Carrying out reactive/proactive maintenance for the companies clients.
Carrying out repair works throughout the customer estate, from Roof to ground, including internal works.
Adhere to contract service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure the highest standard of works at all times.
Assessment of works required to allow for accurate estimating and support contracts manage in compiling of BOM (bill of materials)
Follow a schedule of planned and reactive works to ensure works are complete on time.
To be considered:
Capable in carrying out works across multiple trades to a high level.
Ability to estimate construction works accurately.
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Effective communicator
Effective problem-solving skills.
Effective decision maker
Pre-planned and reactive daily tasks may include:
• Groundwork and Substructure repairs.
• Manhole covers, benching and white lining.
• Internal and External Walls including cladding.
• Wall Finishes including tiling.
• Decoration
• Internal Partitioning
• Internal and External Ceilings
• Windows (excluding glazing)
• Doors
• Canopies
• Roofs including facia and rainwater goods
• Fences
• Manual Gates and Barriers
• External Static Signs and Banners
• Trolley Bays
• General carpentry and metal working repairs to back bars, service desks etc
