Release Manager

Release Manager - FTC 12 months - Bristol - GBP55k Remote working possible - with occasional visits to office.

A global company (multi location) is looking to grow their current team and are looking to hire an experienced Release Manager.

The current release environment requires an experienced individual to define process and procedures from scratch - previous experience in setting up a release management function is critical experience required for this role.

You will be responsible for the overall governance and daily operational activities associated with the Release and Deployment Management process within Global IT. They will plan, co-ordinate, manage and schedule releases for critical services into the production environment.

The Release Manager will define an appropriate Release Strategy for all critical services, implementing Release Management processes, controls, and tools. Operationally they will work with Platform Leads, Service Owners, Business Partners and Test Managers to define the content of Release Plans and Release Packages, oversee releases being moved into test environments and subsequently control releases into production.

Experience required:

*Previous Release and Change Management experience.
*Previous Application Lifecycle Management and Test Management knowledge.
*Proven knowledge and experience of tools, technologies, and methods in Release and Change Management.
*ITIL qualified Release Manager (desirable)
