An exciting new opportunity for a Front End Developer to join a market leading organisation in their industry, based in Oxford, who are offering remote working options post-pandemic. My client is globally recognised across their field which combines world class software engineering to solve a very difficult everyday problem and are working with clients throughout the UK and America. The Front End Developer will design and develop code across the organisations products with a primary focus on UI and supporting functionality across the web platform. This role will provide you the opportunity to utilise the latest technologies, resolving challenging technical problems and working on greenfield projects.

The successful Front End Developer will have likely have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, mathematics or similar subject and have experiences in the following areas;

Essential Skills

  • Masters or bachelor's degree in a related subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent level of commercial experience
  • Front End Development
  • 2 years commercial experience developing resposnsive websites with JavaScript frameworks
  • JavaScript - open to frameworks (react, angular, node etc)
  • C#
  • .Net
  • OOD
  • Agile

Desirable Skills

  • Azure or similar cloud-based platform
  • Unit testing
  • SQL or NoSQL
  • Version control software
  • Full SDLC

This would suit a candidate who is passionate about working with cutting edge technologies who is interested in technology innovation that solves real world complex problems whilst collaborating with a high performing software engineering team. The team are currently fully remote due to the pandemic and expect to continue with remote options post pandemic.
