My client are one of the fastest growing organisations within their sector who have experienced rapid growth over the last 5 years to become one of the leading companies within the UK Travel industry. They are experiencing huge demand from their customers which looks set to continue over the coming years which is why they are looking to expand and bring in a Data Management Lead to support their continued investment within their Data, Analytics and Insights function.

The objective for this position is to lead the data management team responsible for the implementation of governance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Data, IT Director and head of architecture to deliver on their MDM strategy

Evolve and embed their Data Governance framework and standards

Collaborate with the business to establish business ownership of its data and embed Data Governance as a way of working

Collaborate with other project Workstreams to ensure data MDM is supported

Communicate and educate the wider business on the responsibilities of Data Owners, Stewards and Custodians

Key Skills

Experience in delivering and embedding Data Governance frameworks and roadmaps

Knowledge of Data Governance framework and standards

Knowledge of Data Governance related regulation (GDPR, Data Protection)

Ability to work with stakeholders from varying leadership levels of the business

Experience in change management and the ability to influence positive change

Strong background in consulting (Desirable)

These positions will be predominantly be remote based however it would be beneficial for you to be able to attend meetings in person up to once a week in either Newcastle, Leeds or Birmingham. There would also be a benefits package associated with the position which includes an up to 25% bonus.
