PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS ASSISTANT
Fareham
The Role:
- My client based in Fareham require a Personal Injury Claims Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
- The role will involve a mixture of Fast Track RTA and EL/PL Portal (MOJ/ OIC) cases and supporting senior fee earners with disputed and multi-track matters.
- The role will suit an experienced paralegal or someone working towards a Legal Exec' qualification.
Main Duties:
- Researching claims, gathering evidence and advising on chances of success
- Liaising with referrers and advising clients
- File opening and closing and liaising with accounts
- Dealing with incoming emails and telephone calls
- Preparing Court documents
There is the possibility for rapid progression for the right person where you may shortly be able to:
- Run your own cases load of litigated cases through to a final hearing under the supervision of their team leader
- Preparing Witness Statements for Court and detailed Written Submissions for the Court to consider
- Advocacy at court hearings
Minimum Qualification:
- A Law degree from a recognised English University of 2:2 or above.
