We are currently seeking an experienced Legal PA to join our clients busy Private Client team based in Cambridge.
You will provide in-depth Legal PA support to all the Partners and Lawyers within the business unit across all four of our clients' offices.
Duties will include:
* Managing the file opening and closing process
* Be responsible for chasing client identification and submitting this to compliance.
* Assist with the preparation of all financial transactions as required
* Identify bespoke charge out rates for clients/matters and liaise with the Accounts team to ensure they are on Evolution.
* Prepare correspondence and documents through audio typing and word-processing
* Assist in the organisation of events as required.
* Prepare for meetings, ensuring travel, paperwork, attendee list, reports and files are organised.
* Assist in the completion of fee earner timesheets and expense claims.
* Take ownership of new client originator/referral data.
* Manage month end billing.
Skills required:
* Excellent typing and organisational skills.
* Ability to progress a high caseload.
* Ability to create Wills and LPA's from the questionnaires completed using the precedents.
* Experience taking initial calls from clients
* Focused on client service
* Have a solutions based attitude with the ability to seize opportunities, working in an agile, positive and proactive way.
* Excellent team working skills
* Demonstrate sound knowledge of IT skills in Microsoft office, outlook, word and excel and Skype, Zoom and Teams.
