Commercial Property Solicitor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well- regarded practice based in Chester. Our client is an outstanding North West legal firm, offering comprehensive legal advice and support to individuals, their families, and businesses alike across the UK. As Commercial Property Solicitor you will providing services to owner managed and SME sized businesses, property investors, property developers and landlords and tenants of a variety of commercial premises. To be considered for this position, you will be a qualified Solicitor with a good history of working independently on a range of commercial property transactions, including strong experience on development work The role would suit a Commercial Property Solicitor who has gained relevant experience with either a national, regional or bespoke property practice. You are likely to have 4-10 years' PQE and be looking for a firm to further progress your career with. About the role:
You will have a strong desire to work in Commercial Property Law providing services to owner managed and SME sized businesses, property investors, property developers and landlords and tenants of a variety of commercial premises.
This Real Estate team has a strong reputation for commercial property, combining excellent technical skills with a commercial approach. You will have a passion for commercial property work and an interest to develop your knowledge across a broad range of transactions, involving the ownership and development of both freehold and leasehold land and buildings.
You will be managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions, acting for the client in developing and managing commercial property as well as making acquisitions and disposals. You will also be keen to progress and see yourself heading up the department and being a partner in due course.

Commercial Property:
Commercial leases (including grants, reviews, renewals)
Property Management companies (formation and secretarial services)
Commercial property finance (from grant assistance to lending by financial institutions)
Commercial property development (site acquisition, design, and build)
City living accommodation
Buy-to-let property portfolios
Planning.
About you:
To be considered for this position, you will be a qualified Solicitor with a good history of working independently on a range of commercial property transactions, including strong experience on development work.
You will join a busy department which continues to receive regular instruction from their loyal and diverse client base. You will advise clients on a broad range of matters pertaining to commercial property and handle a caseload focusing on commercial acquisitions and disposals and landlord and tenant matters
You will need to be able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team and produce work quickly and accurately often within tight timescales. You will therefore have the ability to remain calm when working under pressure and strong IT skills.
In addition to the above, you will need to be flexible and self-motivated. You will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and thrive upon a demanding workload.
An entrepreneurial flair or interest in business development would also be a welcome asset given the Department's commitment to growth and to involving all its members in marketing and development initiatives.
