Recruitment Coordinator

* Hours: Full Time, Part Time and Flexible Hours Opportunities Available

* Shifts: Shifts between 8am-8pm Monday to Friday

Introduction

We want people to bring their whole selves to work at PeopleScout. We're driven to have a culture where people feel safe, and are seen, heard and respected. Across the business, our teams are diverse communities, and this helps us serve our candidates and our clients better.

As a recruitment coordinator you'll find yourself working with some globally recognised brands, running telephone interviews, watching video interviews, and helping people find the perfect new job for them.

For now, our Recruitment Coordinators are working from home on 9am-5:30pm shifts, Monday to Friday. Once the government advice changes, and it is safe to do so, you'll be expected to work out of our Bristol office, where you will work within our normal operating hours of 8am-8pm Monday to Friday. If you join us on a full time basis, you will work on a rotating shift pattern within these hours.

The Role

At PeopleScout, we run the recruitment processes for our clients, which means that our teams of Recruitment Coordinators introduce ourselves as employees of our clients when speaking to candidates.

We'll give you extensive training, starting with a two-week induction before you'll even speak with a candidate. After that you'll be ready to start interviewing people, helping our clients to find their ideal new employee. The training doesn't stop there either, with plenty of on the job training to help you develop into a professional recruitment coordinator.

This is no sales role, and you won't have any sales targets. Each day you'll have a schedule of work, whether that is emailing candidates, talking to them on the phone, interviewing them, watching video interviews, listening to audio interviews. Or the best bit, letting people know they've just landed the job!

Who we're looking for

Recruitment experience would be a bonus, but if you don't have any, don't worry. We'll give you all the training you need. Our friendly team comes from all sorts of backgrounds; customer service, retail or straight out of school or uni.

There's a real art to building connections with people as they apply for a new job, particularly when it comes to interviews, which make everyone feel a little bit nervous. Ideally, you'll be a real people person, who can quickly put others at ease and help them put their best foot forward.

The only things we'll need from you are:

* To be a confident communicator and listener

* The ability to balance empathy and firmness during conversations

* The commitment to delivering the best experience for candidates

* To be comfortable using Word & Excel

* To have competent numerical, verbal and written skills

Once trained, you'll enjoy plenty of responsibility and opportunities to keep learning. If you're customer focused, willing to get stuck in and take ownership we can teach the rest.

What's in it for me?

As a PeopleScout employee, you'll enjoy a wide range of company benefits, including:

* 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata for fixed term contracts, and employees working less than 5 days per week)

* Life assurance

* Our company pension scheme

* Other flexible benefits including dental insurance, cycle to work scheme, interest free season ticket loan, holiday purchase scheme and healthcare benefits

* An employee recognition scheme
