So, what do we do? We're essentially the "middleman" between companies who are looking to hire talented tech professionals (our clients) and the tech professionals who are seeking new opportunities (our candidates). As a Trainee Tech Recruiter, your job is to build relationships with both parties, providing a consultative recruitment service to fully understand all needs, enabling you to find the perfect match. Our purpose is to create opportunities for people and organisations to realise their potential and you will be instrumental in bringing this to life every day.
The role of a recruiter is so diverse, no two days are ever the same and there's a lot to learn. As we're looking for Trainee Tech Recruiters, you don't need to have any experience as we have an in-house training team made up of industry experts - what else would you expect from a Platinum status Investors in People employer?! You will learn how to write job adverts, source candidates, develop new business, negotiate fees and salaries, provide feedback, spin multiple plates, re-prioritise several times per day and so much more! We will also teach you about technology so don't be put off if your knowledge of tech is limited at the moment.
What are we looking for? Sales ability, ambition and resilience are crucial when working in a highly competitive recruitment environment. Recruitment can be described as a rollercoaster with lots of ups and downs; if you're in sales already you will probably have experienced something similar. The ability to remain positive when times are challenging is what will make you a successful recruiter. We're also looking for excellent communicators with initiative and people who work best in a collaborative environment because our culture is really important to us at Evolution.

At Evolution you will receive generous commission, 25% of revenue generated and because we specialise in high end tech roles, roughly 2 sales per month can generate earnings of GBP40,000-GBP50,000+.
