Commercial Insights Analyst
GBP30-35,000
Based from Gloucester with flexible working from home.
This newly created roles as a Commercial Insights Analyst presents a great opportunity to join a fast growing group of companies who are keen to develop the commercial and business insights function to provide high quality data that will support the further growth of the business.
Reporting to the Head of Business Insights and working closely with the senior management team you will be providing business intelligence through data analysis to sales teams and internal stakeholders.
As the Commercial Insights Analyst your responsibilities will include:
* Development and delivery of accurate and timely management information
* Monthly review of key sales and operational performance data, presenting insightful information to drive additional cross-selling revenue opportunities
* Supporting the Sales Director in delivering business initiatives and projects
* Supporting the budgeting, forecasting and target setting
* Weekly reporting of sales and commission data
* Developing KPI data and reporting formats
* Ongoing development of high quality data source reports
To be successful as a Commercial Insights Analyst we are seeking a candidate with the following skills and experience:
* Highly analytical with a passion delivering top quality data in a format that will clearly illustrate business performance and opportunities
* Degree or similar qualification in a relevant area such as Mathematics, Data Science or Economics.
* Strong academics ideally to degree level with an analytical focus
* Great with big data! Used to working with large and complex data sets.
* Exceptional Excel skills and ideally experienced in using business information software
* Articulate and inquisitive - able to question, challenge and make recommendations
* Commercially savvy and passionate about supporting business growth and success
* Ideally with prior experience of providing analytical support to sales function
This role as a Commercial Insights Analyst will require some travel but also offer some flexibility with regard to remote working.
