Software Engineer

As a Full Stack Developer working in the West of the Central Belt, you will have an active role in the development of new and next generation products and features for a market leading SAAS Management Software Solution that amongst many features has an algorithm capable of predicting future patterns for their clients.

You:

• Will have Full Stack experience creating Reliable and Scalable code, championing Best Practice and High Code Quality
• Will have Java Full-Stack experience and will be working with Java on the Back End, JavaScript and React on the Front End (though happy to consider backgrounds such as Node.JS, Angular etc. too)
• Agile/Scrum, TDD project environment experience
• It is a Software Engineering role so good understanding of things like Relational Databases, Algorithms, Data Structures etc. is expected
• Will be working with AWS but cloud is a bonus to have experience of not essential

Nice to have:

• UI graphical design skills and experience
• Interest in A.I./Machine Learning though this is a Software Engineering role
• AWS
• RESTful API
• Webservices
• ORM frameworks (such as Hibernate)
• Intellij

The role is a Software Engineering role and that needs to be your core skill set but suits those with an interest in other areas such as Cloud, Machine Learning and A.I. but again you will be working as a Software Engineer on this product suite.

Hiring now, your on-boarding will be done remotely as all staff are off site due to covid-19 but plans are to return to the office when safe for everyone.
