Financial Planning Administrator
Loughborough (Our Ref AL1065)
Salary GBP18,000 - GBP24,000 + benefits
My client is a very well established and reputable IFA, and they are now looking to recruit 2 Financial Planning Administrators. Each Administrator will work as part of a team of 3, alongside a Financial Planner and a Paraplanner
You are responsible for gathering the information and transforming the recommendations into reality and managing the ongoing relationship with the client.
Responsibilities of the Financial Planning Administrator
* Handling cases from the point of initial enquiry through to financial plan implementation and onwards
* Gather and input data to prepare for client meetings
* Process and maintain accurate and comprehensive client records
* Get to know your clients needs, building and managing the relationship
* Processing applications and online trading for all products and policies to turn your clients plans into reality
* Deliver clear and concise communication with clients, colleagues, and external contacts
* Ensure consistent delivery of the companys processes, identifying improvements and reporting gaps or inefficiencies
* Prepare for, contribute, and host regular team meetings and daily huddles
* Prepare and attend regular 121s and performance reviews including setting milestones and goals to develop your potential
* Attend internal and external training courses and company events
Skills & Experience required
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Technologically adept
* Active listening
* Self management and organisational skills
* Ability to follow current practices and processes
* A logical mind and a lateral thinker
* Able to communicate ideas in a straightforward way
* Adaptability
* Able to collaborate and share ideas and solutions
* Two years previous Financial Planning Administration experience
* Awareness of Financial Services legislation and application such as GDPR, AML, Vulnerable clients, TCF along with awareness and understanding of compliance processes and procedures
