Recruitment Team Manager- National Tutoring Programme (NTP)
Randstad is proud to be an approved partner for the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) which was set up to close the attainment gap for pupils impacted by school closures owing to Covid-19. The Programme is designed to offer schools the opportunity to access discounted programmes of tuition through approved tuition partners.
As part of this exciting partnering programme we have an opportunity for a Team Manager to join our new NTP team.
As a Team Manager you will be leading and inspiring a team of recruitment partners and taking ownership of delivering against targets and the end-to-end recruitment and selection process of academic mentors into our talent pool.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading a small team of recruitment partners to deliver the targets and standards set
Driving a high performance culture, building team capability through KPIs/targets to exceed short and long term goals
Taking ownership of a specific pipeline, you will act as the single point of contact for all applicants from initial interest to starting in role
Expertly promote the programme
Delivering bespoke recruitment events, tailored to the needs of the target audience
Follow up all leads
Delivering other sourcing activity to generate interest in the programme
Inspiring and motivating applicants to successfully progress through the whole selection process - offering tips and guidance throughout in coaching-style approach
Building and maintaining relationships with successful applicants post-offer communicating offers to Academic Mentors and assisting with ongoing queries whilst maintaining regular contact to ensure withdrawals for the programme are kept to a minimum
Building strong internal relationships with colleagues, in order to ensure Academic Mentors start the programme and are successful.
