CDS Recruitment Limited are working with our client who are looking to recruit a Senior HR Officer on a permanent basis.
The Senior HR Officer will have a generalist focus on the day to day management of all aspects of HR practices, processes and policies and strategies to ensure a full hands on function to all sites. You will also Manage on site payroll for all staff - both monthly and weekly and ensure corporate and ethical compliance.
Responsibilities
-Process monthly payroll along with any ad hoc payroll issues.
-Manage and process Year End. Submit to Inland Revenue.
-Manage and maintain monthly time and attendance system, provide reports when required and support Supervisors.
-Oversee the whole training provisions, and liaise with managers/supervisors
-Support disciplinary hearings at all stages. Support and advise HR staff on consistent approach.
-Provide direction and advice on sensitive and complex employment issues.
-Oversee the induction of new personnel and the employee life cycle ensuring legal compliance.
-Assist with procedures to ensure compliance to new legislation
-Benchmark all other suppliers for Pay Negotiations
-Co-ordinate the agency staff provision within the company.
-Manage the Occupational Health provision within the company.
-Support Health & Safety specifically with EL Claims and Health Safety Awareness
-Collaborate with departmental managers and seniors to develop and implement improvements.
-Build union relationships to facilitate a collaborative working approach.
-Analysis of departmental metrics for continuous improvement.
-Manage outside services, consisting of canteen vending, cleaning contractors and security.
-Travel expectations:
