Transport Planner Requirements
Background in General Haulage and or Pallet Network
If you have a Pallet Network or General Haulage Please apply
Package:
Rotating shifts
Monday - Friday
5am - 4pm
GBP23,000 -GBP30,000
The Role:
Transport planner will be routing company owned vehicles
You will be responsible for ensuring full Vehicle & Driver compliance at all times
It is essential you have full knowledge of WTD
As Transport Planner you will be expected to ensure maximum vehicle usage
You are required to source and route back loads
The Requirements:
Extensive Transport route planning skills
Pallet Network is experience preferred
Excellent geographical knowledge
Strong communication skills
Must have good IT skills and the ability to use MICROSOFT EXCEL and WORD.
A knowledge of STIRLING planning software very beneficial
Understanding of drivers EDC devices
Exceptional attention to detail
Must be organised, self-motivated and driven
