People Advisor - Reward and Policy (Retail)
Role Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to ensure employee reward and benefits and People Policies remain compelling, competitive and drive employee engagement across Stores, Head Office and the Warehouse.
A typical day in this role includes:
- Manage and update the reward system Benefex on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all content remains accurate, interesting and up to date
- Maintain the employee membership of current benefit schemes on a monthly basis
- Develop, draft, and work with the HR Manager to publish modern, relevant and engaging people policies and procedures whilst maintaining legal compliance.
- Administer and promote the staff discount schemes (The Perfume Shop and Superdrug) and all wider AS Watson group benefits
- Work with the People Partner Head Office and Warehouse and Internal Communication Team to promote access and understanding of the benefits offering
- Promote the Employee Assistance Scheme, the Retail Trust to increase participation provider Account Manager and Group Office as required
- Support the HR Manager to research current best practice and propose bonus schemes for all aspects of the business on an annual basis
- Support AS Watson Group tender meetings for new or renewed benefits, and liaise with the wider AS Watson group on shared benefits when required (eg Healthcare)
- Ensure that an annual reward and benefits calendar is in place across the business
- Produce reports, analysis and feedback surrounding the effectiveness and impact of reward and benefits at The Perfume Shop to ensure they remain fit for purpose
- Be aware of modern benefit trends and stay up to date with current thinking and proactively make suggestions for relevant benefits through regular research, networking and attending relevant events

Experience
- You'll likely already be working in a Benefits or Reward focused role
- Experience of drafting People Policies is desirable but not essential however a genuine interest in this type of work, and ability to write clearly is a definite requirement!
