OVERVIEW
We are very proud to be working for our client on an exclusive basis and are seeking an exceptional experienced stand alone HR Manager.
Reporting into the Operations Manager and working as part of the senior leadership team this is a stand alone HR role and following retirement of the current part-time HRM we are seeking to recruit an exceptional HR Manager.
This is an outstanding global manufacturing medium sized business and would suit a 'hands on' operational HRM who enjoys working at all levels and being visible around the site. The current long established HRM works on a part-time basis, however this role can be part-time or full-time, therefore we would like to see HR candidates looking for either.
THE ROLE:
-This role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with the senior leadership and management teams.
-The HR Manager is a stand alone role and will require an experienced HR professional who is a true operational HR generalist and has previous experience working in a stand alone HR role in manufacturing.
-The role is the 'go to person' for all HR requirements
-The HR tasks will vary from typical day-to-day HR tasks, taking full responsibility for developing policies and procedures.
-Responsible for developing the HR People Plan, site Talent and succession plan - linking to performance appraisals and apprenticeship scheme to enable a strong future talent.
-Excellent experience coaching site management teams, and the senior leadership team, developing and coordinating training activities and liaising with external training providers
-Working closely with the global HR team and supporting on group wide projects
THE CANDIDATE:
-Must have worked in an operational HR generalist stand alone HR position in a manufacturing / operational environment
-Excellent ER background and employment law knowledge
-Experience developing site succession plans
-Previously had full responsibility and management of Apprenticeship schemes
-Can demonstrate strong coaching, mentoring skills at all levels and give good examples
-Experience of developing site talent and succession plans linked to performance
-Previously coached site leadership teams and management teams
-IOSH - or working towards is desirable not essential
-A 'hands on' work at all levels HR professional who enjoys being visible around the site, walking the shop-floor, getting to know individuals and really being part of the team.
-Previous experience working for a global manufacturing company and reporting into/working with a global HR team.
