Accounts Assistant - Permanent - Telford
L & C Consulting are recruiting for one of our Telford based clients for a new Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant. The role will suit a professional, experienced all round, Accounts Assistant who is looking for a role within a professional, secure organisation.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Managing the accounts' function and supporting the FC with the compilation of the monthly management accounts
* Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger reconciliation
* Month End Stock & WIP valuations
* Posting expenses & company credit card
* Bank Recs
* Posting nominal receipts & payments
* Annual Audit support
To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you MUST have worked in a similar role, have an extremely professional approach to your work and attitude, be IT literate (including good levels of experience with Sage and ideally QuickBooks as well as Ms Excel & Word) and be part qualified CIMA or AAT Level 3 (or higher) Qualified (or equivalent).
There will also be the need for very occasional travel.
Mon - Fri, 39 hours per week, including an early finish each Friday.
The Shrewsbury site is accessible from Telford, Market Drayton, Ludlow, Oswestry, Newtown, Bridgnorth etc
