A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a well established organisation based in Livingston, who is currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their small and friendly office on a full time, Permanent basis.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced administrator who is seeking a new challenging role with a highly reputable company.

Responsibilities:

* Maintaining accurate stock demand levels.

* Inventory invoice posting, maintaining accurate payments.

* Liaising with the Purchasing Manager, recording accurate forecast figures.

* Placing purchase orders with allocated suppliers and ensuring shipments are on time.

* Reviewing data, making sure that there is efficient stock availability levels.

* Ensure stock levels are accurate and that the information available is correct.

* Purchase order tracking.

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous experience in an administrative role is essential.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Highly organised with good attention to detail.

* Strong IT skills, including Excel.

* Stock management experience would be advantageous.
