Front-End Developer (React) Fully Remote GBP45K
Modis are working alongside a cracking tech-start up on their search for a Front End Developer (React) to join them at an incredibly busy and exciting time to contribute to their Software Engineering effort. These guys have come leaps and bounds over the last couple of years and having built an established Dev outfit of some very talented React/Cypress enthusiasts in the local market.. I'm now looking for a couple more Front End Developers to join them.
Their CEO and CTO are renown for building sophisticated, best-in-class products. This new product, is no different - if not better. Built from scratch under 2 years ago using only the most innovative, enterprise-scale tech stack.. its already absolutely thriving. The work here is technically complex, highly intricate and challenging so it's important that you will work hard and run fast in order to be a success within this environment.
Despite their age, these guys already have a VERY impressive client base.. I'm talking about some really big, well-known brands. Their tech function has grown significantly over the last year and they show no signs of slowing down. If anything, they're just getting started..
You will have a solid track record in Front End Development and you'll be well versed in React/Redux, with a good handle on HTML5,CSS3 and JavaScript. You'll also be comfortable with Git version control and you'll be aware of GitFlow
As a Front End developer you'll be responsible for implementing easy to use web applications for market leading products withthe wider team and finding better ways of working. You will also take part in code reviews and deliver and user friendly web applications using React, Redux and the wider Front End technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as working with testing using Cypress. This is a very autonomous role where you will be expected to take a lot of ownership and make a real difference, therefore I am looking for someone who can work with pace and can solve complex problems under pressure in a truly Real Time environment where requirements can often change at a moments notice!
You will be an advocate of Agile and passionate about using industry best practices, including solid principles and recognised design patterns - knowing how to apply them in an Enterprise environment. It's the perfect time to join the business as you can get involved at a time where you can truly influence and play a key role in their evolution.
