Divisional Controller

Looking after your own Division this is a dual role to provide leadership to a large team of commercially focused accountants, and secondly to drive improved performance for the division. You will work for a business who continues to see significant growth and invest for the future. You will join at a time of significant investment in both systems and processes, given you the chance to influence success and best practices.

Key responsibilities

Management and leadership of the team focusing on their development and motivation to deliver outstanding service.
Continuous development of systems and processes to drive best in class reporting.
Continually evolve and promote a business partnering culture.
Work closely with divisional leads on strategic plans.
Work closely with operational Managers to review risks and opportunities.
Weekly and monthly performance reviews identifying trends and commercial opportunities.
Involved in high level and large contracts, bids, and tenders to ensure best commercial outcomes are achieved.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
We are looking for a qualified accountant with a track record in management roles and developing talent. You will be technically strong; and you will be able to evidence where you have supported commercial and strategic decision making. You will be a natural business partner with the ability to influence and challenge. You will be curious with an eye for detail. You will have strong systems experience including business intelligence tools.
