We are currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor on an MOJ contract covering Birmingham and the East Midlands area.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the management, monitoring and control of project finances in order to maximise margins and revenue growth, minimising costs, whilst maintaining or exceeding the required standards, specifications and KPI's.
Responsibilities
• Carry out all allocated quantity surveying activities to support the site team in achieving the required financial objectives
• Prepare and submit priced variations for agreement
• Develop a good understanding of the wider aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental law affecting a Facilities business.
• Have a full understanding and appreciation of the contract under which your project is operating and the risks and opportunities this presents.
• Develop a high level of competence in the application of IT skills to facilitate own role within VINCI Facilities.
• Develop a wider knowledge of business systems to manage and present business information
• Use the CAFM platform to demonstrate our value to our clients.
• Have a clear understanding of the benefits and outputs available from our IT tools.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
• Holding relevant Quantity Surveying qualification and industry memberships
• RICS Certified (Preferred)
• CSCS
• Strong communicator
• Good people management skills
• Good level of IT
