We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice to join the Business Development Team team based at our site in Tilbury.
As well as gaining a wide variety of knowledge within the BDM team, you will be placed on the Supply Chain Professional Degree BSc Hons (Level 6). The apprenticeship will last around 42 months and upon successful completion, you will be promoted to a Sales Administrator with the opportunity to continue to grow and develop within the team.
Responsibilities
Achieving agreed service targets through a client contact strategy
Providing effective customer support, advice and service, including pricing, problem solving and up-selling
Ensuring all client quotations are followed through to completion and reporting a win or loss on the appropriate system (Sugar)
Providing business and administrative support to the appropriate Business Development Manager (BDM)
Updating and maintaining client records held on Uniserve's systems for designated client portfolios
Providing clerical support to the commercial team when required
Assisting where required on promotional and corporate activities
Achieving the minimum weekly client contact targets via telephone
Providing follow up calls and ensuring that all information is captured in the Global Client Relationship Management (CRM) systemEssential Skills and Experience
