Training Officer
Our public sector client is looking to recruit a Training Officer to be based in Bristol on a initial contract till December 2021.
You will be part of the Education, Skills and Employment Team and be responsible for maximising the hiring / recruitment of local people into construction related roles and projects through the promotion and recruitment of businesses to apprenticeship programmes.
You will work across the city to promote apprenticeships within the construction sector developing relationships with local college providers as well as Schools, Community Groups, Youth and Adult Groups and other associated organisations to raise awareness of apprenticeships.
You will recruit and support young people into apprenticeships and adults into training / employment. You will help assess work placements and monitor the success of placements.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Knowledge of Apprenticeships and training schemes ideally in the construction sector such as Health and Safety
* Ideally recruiting for training and employment programmes
* Providing support and mentoring
* Flexible and innovative
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work with a wide and diverse audience.

You must have a full driving license for this role and will also need to undergo a Enhanced DBS
Hourly Rate of Pay: GBP14.46 per hour PAYE plus accrued holiday pay or GBP18.32 per hour on a umbrella company basis
