Major are working with a manufacturer based in Huddersfield who are looking for an experienced Stores Operative with a FLT Counterbalance Licence to join their team.
*You must hold a valid Fork Lift Truck Counterbalance Licence to be considered for this role*
Hours: You could potentially be working on any of the following shifts: AM: 6am-2pm approx. PM: 2pm-10pm approx. Or Days: 7:30am-4:15pm approx.
Pay: GBP9.09 per hour, increasing to GBP9.45 per hour upon completion of successful 12 week probationary period.
Key Responsibilities of the Stores Operative:
* Unloading of deliveries.
* Checking the delivery of goods.
* Putting stock into an allocation.
* Booking in stock to an MRP System.
* Managing and logging information accurately.
* Printing of picking lists from Ischedule and sorting into picking order.
* Picking and labelling of goods to a schedule.
* Scanning out of goods and taking to the relevant location.
* Picking and issuing stock to the lines in the factory.
* Liaising with the internal procurement team and other internal partners.
* General Housekeeping.
Requirements:
* Physically capable as manual handling is required.
* Experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience in stock control.
* Experience of goods inwards.
* Experience of picking goods to a high standard.
* Good PC skills.
* Must have great attention to detail.
* Able to work alone or within a team.
* PPT (Advantage) experience.
* FLT Licence - (Refreshed in last 3 years)
