We are looking to recruit a General Operatives / Production Operatives for our prestigious client site based in Melton Mowbray.
Our client is a leader in producing and distributing an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminium windows and related products for use in the new construction and repair and remodelling of residential homes and non-residential buildings.
We are looking for someone who understands a 'SAFETY FIRST' culture with experience of working in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment. You should be reliable, hardworking self-motivated, enthusiastic and a flexible team member, with the ability to produce high quality work. You should work collaboratively within and across teams with a real passion to live our clients' values.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to health and safety policies
Ensuring safety checks are completed
Adhere to SOP's
Meeting daily production targets
General maintenance of your work area
Ensure that all products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
Meeting quality standards for each process
Ensuring that general housekeeping is done to the required standard and areas are 5's compliant.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Previous experience in a manufacturing / factory environment would be advantageous but is not required and full training will be provided. This is production job so you will be trained on using different tools.
No qualifications needed.
Hours of work are as follows:
Day Shifts
Mondays to Friday on a rotational basis !
06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00
AM - GBP9.21 per hour
PM - GBP10.59 per hour
Immediate START !! Ongoing work that might lead to permanent position.
We also have 07:30 - 16:30 shift with a rate of pay - GBP9.21 (Mon-Fri)
